By filling out the online profile owners are signing the following information and rights over to Mutts In A Rutt of the following listed below.

Liability Waiver and Policy 

Transportation and Boarding

Owner agrees to pay all costs and charges for special services requested, and provide updated vaccination records from your vet before starting boarding.

Owner understand that all dogs will be boarded at the address of 

Mutts In A Rutt(Address Provided after meet and greet)

Owner gives Mutts In A Rutt it’s owners, operators, and/or staff permission to transport dog/dogs to and from for boarding and training  purposes if needed. They further understand the inherent risks associated with transportation such as, but not limited to, loss or injury due to accident; owner agrees to assume all risks and financial costs associated with said transportation.

Owner further understands and agrees that Owner(s) dog will have access to a fenced outside area. Owner(s) agree to assume full liability if Owner(s) dog escapes. 

Contact with other pets 

Owner agrees to be solely responsible for any and all acts or behavior of Owner’s pet while it is in the care of Mutts In A Rutt.

Owner understands and agrees that during normal dog play, Owner’s dog may sustain injuries. All dog play is monitored by Mutts In A Rutt Staff to avoid injury, but scratches, punctures, torn ligaments, and other injuries may occur despite the best supervision.

Owner further understands and agrees that neither Mutts In A Rutt nor any of its employees, staff or volunteers, will be liable for any illness, injury, death, and /or escape of Owner’s Dog(s) provided that reasonable care and precautions are followed, and Owner hereby releases all of them of any liability of any kind. Whatsoever arising from or as a result of Owner’s dog(s) attending or participating at Boarding. 

If your pet injures another pet or any person, you are solely responsible for any injury to that other pet or person as well as your own pet. In the event your pet is involved in an incident you acknowledge that you Will pay for all costs that may come from the incident.

Communicable diseases

Although all pets coming into the home are required to be vaccinated it’s still possible for a pet to become ill with a contagious condition. You acknowledge and understand the risk and agree that Mutts In A Rutt is not liable for any expenses related to illness suffered by your pet during or after this date included but it is still possible for a pet to become ill with and contagious condition. Your knowledge and understand the risk and agree that Mutts In A Rutt is not liable for any expenses related to illness suffered by your pets during or after the state included but not limited to kennel cough, Pavo, distemper, leptospirosis,Giardia, or canine influenza.

Pets Health and Behavior 

Mutts In A Rutt reserves the right to immediately change your pet’s type of boarding if we believe it is necessary to protect the health and well-being of your pet, other pets, or our staff, and Owner agrees to pay any additional costs associated with the change.

Owner specifically represents that the pet has not been exposed to rabies or distemper or Parvo Virus  within 30 days prior to boarding. 

If, at any time, your pet is found to have fleas or ticks we will require the appropriate flea and tick removal treatment and you authorize Mutts In A Rutt to provide appropriate treatment and you agreed to cover the cost of such treatment.

You represent that your pet has no illness, injury, or behavior problem including aggressive or biting behavior that has not been disclosed to Mutts In A Rutt.

If your pet has recently been treated for a contagious illness, we will not accept your pet for at least two weeks after treatment has been completed and a statement of health from a  licensed veterinarian is provided at check-in.

Boarding an extremely old, chronically ill or otherwise debilitated dog requires extra care, which our caring and trained staff is happy to provide. However, special-needs pets, puppies and senior pets naturally have a higher risk of injury, stress-related illness, or exacerbation of any pre-existing condition. As such, by boarding your special-needs pet, puppy or senior pet with us you are waiving any claim for injury or illness experienced by your pet while in our care and that is not directly caused by the negligence or lack of care on the part of our staff.

Owner understands that dogs will be crated and are by themselves overnight or when not supervised.. Owner further understands that even though the dog is in our house they are okay with being left alone in a crate overnight or when not supervised. 

Owner understands that in the event of an emergency or severe weather dogs will be put in a crate for the safety and well-being  of each and every dog.

Sole Ownership

Owner specifically represents that they are the lawful and valid owner of the pet.

By enrolling the above named and described dog(s), I represent that I am the legal owner of the named dog(s) and I assume all risks, dangers and responsibility for injuries to the named dog(s). Owner understands and agrees that Owner is solely responsible for any harm to Owner’s dog(s) while Owner’s dog(s) is/are attending Mutts In a Rutt. 

 Food And Feeding Schedule 

Owner further understands and agrees that it is the Owners responsibility to leave an adequate supply of food and medications for pet during the entire time the pet is being cared for by Mutts In a Rutt. Should the food/medication supply need replacement, I authorize Mutts In A Rutt to purchase replacement food and Owner will reimburse Mutts In A Rutt for cost plus a $25.00 replacement fee (per occurrence) plus the actual food and medication costs. 

 Owner  understand that dogs may not eat their food or drink water even when  presented to the dog  multiple time. Mutts In A Rutt will offer a pumpkin purée topper to entice the dog  if they are not eating. 

Owner understands that all dogs will eat in a crate for the health and safety of each and every dog. 

Pick up and drop off and updates 

Owner further understands and agrees that if Owner’s dog(s) is/are not picked up by the end of the regular business day, then Owner hereby authorizes Mutts In A Rutt to take whatever action is deemed necessary for the continuing care of Owner’s dog(s). 

Owner agrees and promises to pay to Mutts In A Rutt all costs of continuing such care upon demand by Daycare/Boarding. 

We offer free drop off and pick up if your dog is boarding more than 3 days (must live within 15 minutes of our location) 

Weekdays there will be no drop off or pick up between 11:30 AM-2 PM 

Saturday pick up and drop off times between 9-11:30 AM and 4-6 PM

Sunday pick ups and drop offs  are only between 3-6pm. 

No pick up or drop offs on all major holidays (If needed to be picked up or dropped off on a holiday an extra charge of $25 will be applied on top of other fees)

Owner understands that Mutts In a Rutt will provide updates when texted. Understand that the first couple of days your dog may be adjusting to a new environment and anxious. If after 5 days your dog has not adjusted we will contact you to find proper care options for your dog.
